By April 30, 2009, World Health Organization had released announcement to stop using the term Swine flu name to WHO logo become H1N1 Influenza A. Also U.S. public health officials have dropped the term "swine flu" in favor of "2009 H1N1 flu", which was supported by US President and his related ministries administration.

This actions was taken after pig farmers in the United States, Mexico and Canada are being banned on their exports of live swine and pork meat imposed by several nations including Russia and China and Egypt also began slaughtering  thousands of pigs on Thursday (4/30/2009), although officials said it was a general health measure rather than a precaution against swine flu.

Director General of WHO Margaret Chan said that WHO did not believe that people were getting infected by pigs in the current outbreak. "There’s no reason why people who love to eat pork should stop eating now, pork can be eaten safely if cooked properly. "The WHO does not recommend the restriction of movement of people or goods," she added.

Despite the name swine flu, no pigs in the United States are reported to be suffering from the disease, which also has components from influenza strains afflicting people and birds in three continents. So, we can start named this Swine Influenza to H1N1 Influenza A
