Protection of the skin from a short, sharp burst of ultraviolet radiation seemed the most important role in

For suncsreen usage, there is a term called Sun Protection Factors which describes a ratio of the time required for the minimal erythema dose for protected skin divided by the time for unprotected skin. Individual with a risk is advised to purchase one of those skin protections. SPF of 12-14 for use in Canada and 17-21 for Florida or the Caribbean, accordingly.
